Army Chief General MM Naravane meets top Commanders in Delhi, dicusses Ladakh issue.

New Delhi: Indian Army Chief MM Naravane today dicussed the current situation in Ladakh with top Commanders in Delhi.

Naravane is likely to visit Ladakh later this week to review operational preparedness as well the deployment across the Line of Actual Control with China and Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan.

Army Commanders Conference ACC-20 is being conducted on 22-23 June 2020 to review the operational situation on both the #Northern and Western Fronts. 

People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China today finally opened up to the fact that its commanding officer was among those killed in the Galwan valley clashes in Ladakh region last week, according to sources.

India had changed the rules of engagement along the LAC after the dangerous clash with China. Also the rules of engagement had been change by the commanders have now been given the powers allowing them the use of firearms under extraordinary circumstances.

Indian Forces have been put up on high alert and have been asked to maintain a strict vigil on the Chinese activities around the border, airspace and important sea lanes.
