3rd round of Corp Commander level military talks between India-China tomorrow; Meeting to focus on disengagement at the LAC.

The military level talks will begin at 11am at Chushul. The main focus will be on the disengagement at the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The commander level talks between the Indian and Chinese Army had have arrived at a mutual consensus to "disengage" from all friction points in eastern Ladakh sector after the  marathon meeting of top military commanders of the two sides on June 22. India has deployed air defence systems in the eastern Ladakh region, people close to this development said. BY VRISHANK MAHATME   NEW DELHI:  As the stand-off with China continues at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh region, India’s close allies are pouring in support with fidelity in delivering high-priority ammunition and weapons for the Indian Armed Forces. An in service Israeli air defence is soon expected to reach India, also France another close ally of India has pledged to deliver additional Rafale jets next month. The United States of America (USA) on the other hand has informed that they would be sending precision artillery. Further, Russia would make deliveries of weapons and arms worth a whopping $1 billion. It may also be noted that the first set of Rafale fighter jets equipped with the world's best long-range air-to-air missiles will touchdown in India on July 27. The air defence systems in the Indian Military include Akash, Israeli made SpyDer and the Russian made Pechora. ADS is system, weapon, or technology involved in the detection, tracking, interception, and destruction of attacking missiles, helicopters, fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles. Navy Inducts Indigenously Developed Torpedo Decoy System

By DNN NEWSDESK New Delhi: Anti-Submarine Warfare capability of the Indian Navy has received a major boost today with the conclusion of a contract for Advanced Torpedo Decoy System Maareech capable of being fired from all frontline warships.  Design & Development of this anti-torpedo decoy system has been undertaken indigenously DRDO labs (NSTL and NPOL). Bharat Electronics Limited, a Defence PSU, would undertake the production of this decoy system. The prototype of this system installed onboard a nominated naval platform had successfully completed all user evaluation trials and demonstrated the features as per the Naval Staff Qualification Requirements.  This induction not only stands testimony to the joint resolve of the Indian Navy and DRDO towards indigenous development of Defence technology, but has also given a major fillip to the Government's 'Make in India' initiative and the country's resolve to become 'Atmanirbhar' in niche technology. ...

He also co-chairs with Defence Ministry in the High Level Committee on Science & Technology. Their discussions on bilateral cooperation and regional issues were very positive and productive. By DNN NEWSDESK LEH: Meeting between Army’s 14 Corps Commander Lt Gen Harinder Singh & his Chinese counterpart has concluded and remains inconclusive even after 11.5 hours of dicussions. The talks are scheduled to continue tomorrow. The commander level talks began at 11:30 AM at Moldo on Chinese side of LAC.  Sources have revealed that the discussions were on maintaining status quo ante May 2 and the very important issue Pangong Tso buildup.  As per details India had been negotiating hard while maintaining its stand that China should maintain Pre-April position and rollback of PLA troops. However,  China kept claiming Galwan Valley and Pangong Tso till finger 4 and India categorically rejected its claim, sources said India also clearly told China that both the sides should respect and abide by the treaty. This is the first time since the incident that Chinese Army has confirmed about casualty one their side. This information has to light during the commander lever talks between the two sides at Moldo on the Chinese side of Chushul. By DNN NEWSDESK New Delhi: Amidst the India-China talks to de-escalate tension at the border, another video has surfaced on social media platforms of a fight between the soldiers.  However, the location of the video and the date it was taken still remains a mystery. Also the Indian Army is yet to come out with the information about the video floating on social media. Some have revealed that this video might be from Sikkim, however there is no official confirmation or more details about the same.  Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane is to visit Ladakh later this week to review operational preparedness. As per sources, Russia has delayed the delivery of $5.4 billion dollar system to December 2021 as a result of constrains due to the global Covid19 pandemic.
